Leadership Philosophy
"Great engineering organizations are not built by managing projects alone. They are built by developing people, creating alignment, and establishing the capability to continuously improve and scale."

Manufacturing Relocation & Business Integration
Challenge
Following the acquisition of Medistad by Pall Life Sciences, manufacturing operations for Single-Use Technologies (SUT) needed to be integrated and relocated to support future growth objectives. The challenge was significant: transfer manufacturing capabilities from the UK to the Netherlands while maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted customer supply.
Approach
As a key member of the integration leadership team, I led the planning and execution of the manufacturing transfer from the UK production facility to Medemblik.
The program required close coordination across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure a seamless transition.
Key responsibilities included:
- Developing and executing the site transfer strategy
- Coordinating cross-functional integration activities following the acquisition
- Managing relocation timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment
- Ensuring continuity of supply throughout the transition
- Aligning manufacturing processes, systems, and operational standards
- Leading communication between local and international teams
- Supporting capacity expansion to enable future growth of the Single-Use Technologies business
Impact
The relocation was successfully completed without disruption to customer deliveries, enabling business continuity while creating a stronger foundation for future growth.
Key outcomes included:
- Seamless transfer of manufacturing operations from the UK to Medemblik
- No adverse impact on customer supply or service levels
- Successful integration of acquired capabilities into the broader organization
- Harmonized manufacturing processes and operational practices
- Improved scalability to support continued growth in Single-Use Technologies
- Strengthened collaboration between engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams
Leadership Insights
"Successful relocations are not simply about moving equipment. They require aligning people, processes, and priorities while maintaining customer trust and operational performance throughout the journey."

Organizational Transformation & Team Development
Challenge
As the organization evolved, the Product Engineering function faced increasing demands from both innovation projects and sustaining activities. Competing priorities, uneven workload distribution, and limited visibility into sustaining work reduced the team's ability to effectively support growth and strategic objectives.
To create a more scalable organization, the team structure, ways of working, and prioritization processes needed to be redesigned while maintaining employee engagement and business continuity.
Approach
I led the restructuring of the Product Engineering organization to improve clarity, focus, and execution.
A key element of the transformation was balancing strategic innovation initiatives with the growing demand for sustaining engineering activities. The new organizational model improved accountability, workload management, and visibility across the portfolio.
Recognizing that successful change is driven by people, I applied a leadership approach centered on listening, empathy, and active stakeholder engagement. By understanding concerns, addressing resistance, and involving team members in the transformation journey, the organization was able to embrace change and move forward with confidence.
Key initiatives included:
- Redesigning the Product Engineering organizational structure
- Improving prioritization and portfolio visibility
- Establishing clearer ownership and accountability
- Balancing innovation and sustaining engineering workloads
- Implementing change management practices to support adoption
- Coaching leaders and team members through the transition
- Creating development pathways and succession planning initiatives
- Strengthening collaboration across manufacturing, quality, R&D, supply chain, and product management
Impact
The transformation created a stronger and more resilient engineering organization with improved alignment to business priorities.
Key outcomes included:
- Greater focus on innovation and strategic growth initiatives
- Improved visibility and management of sustaining engineering projects
- Better workload balance and resource utilization
- Enhanced operational performance and team effectiveness
- Increased engagement through transparent communication and involvement
- Stronger collaboration across functions and departments
- Improved organizational capability through leadership and talent development
- Sustainable process improvements supporting long-term business performance
Leadership Insights
"Lasting organizational change happens when people understand not only what is changing, but why it matters. By listening first, addressing concerns, and building trust, transformation becomes something people contribute to rather than something imposed upon them."

Change Management & Organizational Transformation
Challenge
Organizations continuously face change driven by growth, market demands, acquisitions, restructuring, technology advancements, and evolving customer expectations. While change is often necessary, successful adoption depends on people, not processes alone.
Without clear communication, engagement, and leadership, even well-designed transformations can struggle to deliver lasting results.
Approach
I help organizations navigate complex change by combining strategic direction with a people-centered leadership approach.
Drawing on extensive experience leading organizational restructurings, manufacturing relocations, integration programs, and global transformation initiatives, I focus on creating alignment, building trust, and ensuring sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
My approach emphasizes:
- Understanding organizational dynamics and stakeholder needs
- Listening actively and addressing concerns early
- Building trust through transparency and communication
- Managing resistance with empathy and engagement
- Aligning teams around a shared vision and objectives
- Creating clear governance and accountability
- Supporting leaders and teams throughout the transition
- Embedding sustainable improvements into everyday operations
Impact
Effective change management goes beyond successful implementation. It creates the conditions for long-term organizational growth and capability development.
Typical outcomes include:
- Stronger stakeholder engagement and commitment
- Faster adoption of new processes and organizational structures
- Improved collaboration across teams and functions
- Reduced disruption during transformation initiatives
- Higher employee engagement and trust
- Enhanced organizational agility and resilience
- Sustainable performance improvements
- Stronger leadership capability throughout the organization
Leadership Philosophy
"People do not resist change. They resist uncertainty. When leaders create clarity, listen with empathy, and involve people in the journey, change becomes an opportunity for growth rather than a source of resistance."
